As a reader, if you struggle with the below thoughts, you're in the right place
Do you feel overwhelmed with the humungous variety and volume of books out there?
Are you apprehensive about reading different books and not liking them?
Are you bored of reading the same kind of books?
Do you feel frustrated at the lack of easy and convenient access to amazing books?
Are you spending a fortune buying books, only to read them once?
Do you want to explore beyond your tried-and-tested genres but aren't sure if it'll be worth your time?
MyBookWorks is a place for book enthusiasts willing to get outside their comfort zone and discover new genres, titles, and authors
But why is it important to move beyond your comfort zone?
As Haruki Murakami wrote,
"If you only read the books that everyone else is reading, you can only think what everyone else is thinking."
But how do you find time to search for great books when you have so many things to juggle, from your professional responsibilities to personal commitments?
That's why our mission is to uncover the hidden gems in the book universe - books that you are not just guaranteed to fall in love with but also learn a lot from.
We spend a lot of time researching and curating books so that you can have both an enjoyable and meaningful reading experience.
In other words, we take immense care to design an indulgent reading experience for you.
Deepthi considers books as one of her best mentors. But she didn't start out as an avid reader. In fact, she was a reluctant reader, first as a child, intimidated by the sheer volume of words that resided in books, and later, as an adult, certain that reading non-fiction books was a daunting task.
Luckily for her, at both the junctures, she had amazing family members who were passionate readers themselves and who influenced her to overcome her fears about reading by recommending some great books.
And that's how Deepthi got hooked to books and became a non-fiction junkie, devouring books on business, leadership, and communication :)
